For over 25 years, Cindy has been successfully representing clients in litigation matters in both state and federal court. Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law, Cindy has handled numerous serious injury cases, but has also represented clients in a variety of other types of matters, including banking, contracts, deceptive trade practices, sexual harassment, and defamation. In addition to her trial experience, she has also been involved in numerous appeals, including cases in the state appeals courts, as well as the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Cindy’s background and experience throughout the years have taught her that hard work, common sense, and the ability to adapt and deal with whatever situation presents itself, are the keys to getting results in any case.
Following graduation from Sam Houston State University with a B.B.A. in accounting in 1982, Cindy became a CPA, and worked as an accountant in the oil and gas industry for several years. She later returned to law school at The University of Houston Law Center, where she obtained her J.D. in 1989.
Cindy is a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. She serves on the Board of Directors for The Hope Clinic, which provides dental care to lower income families in her local community. She is active in her church, sings with the Bay Area Chorus of Greater Houston, and is a past Treasurer for the American Cancer Society’s Alvin/Manvel Relay for Life.
