Scott McCormick

Scott McCormick is a proud Aggie, graduating cum laude from Texas A&M University in College Station in 2013. After working and traveling abroad for eight months, Scott attended South Texas College Law, graduating cum laude in 2017. While at South Texas College of Law, Scott participated in the 2015 Summary Trial Academy, as well as the South Texas Mock Trial Challenge.
Since joining the firm, Scott has gained significant experience in personal injury litigation involving car accidents, trucking accidents, and oil field accidents, including subrogation. Scott has also practiced in business and construction litigation helping business owners solve their legal problems, as well as homeowner’s disputes, defending individuals. Although primarily focused on defense litigation, Scott has brought suit on behalf of Plaintiffs as well, most recently on behalf of victims of Hurricane Harvey. This early experience on both sides of the bar has instilled Scott with not only a zeal for justice on behalf of his clients, but also an understanding of the legal system as a whole that is rare in younger attorneys.
